Pakistan’s military establishment is currently busy in uniting and supporting Jihadi-sectarian leaders and organizations in Pakistan in the name of Defence of Pakistan (Difa-e-Pakistan). Two main participants of the Defence of Pakistan conferences and rallies are two banned organizations, namely Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan (SSP, also known as Lashkar-e-Jhangvi LeJ or Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat ASWJ) and Jamaat-Ud-Dawa (JuD, also known as Lashkar-e-Taiba LeT). The key organizer of the Defence of Pakistan Council is a notorious pro-Taliban, Shia-phobe mullah Sami-ul-Haq who is known to have close links with Pakistan’s ISI.
By allowing the banned Jihadi-sectarian organizations to operate freely and recruit more members (potential militants, Jihadis and suicide bombers), Pakistan army is ensuring that the external Jihadis continue their attacks on strategic targets in India, Afghanistan and elsewhere and the internal Jihadi keep killing Shias, Barelvis, Ahmadis, Christians and other persecuted groups in Pakistan. In the latest incident of mass murder of Shias, at least 20 Shia Muslims were massacred by ISI-backed Sipah-e-Sahaba terrorists in Imam Hussain’s Arbaeen (Chehlum) procession in Khanpur, Punjab (14 Jan 2012).
Here is a thought provoking video produced by the Shia Killing team, which demonstrates that by allowing hate speech against Shia Muslims, and by allowing Jihadi-sectarian organizations to freely preach their agenda and brainwash sectarian militants and suicide bombers, Pakistani state, military establishment in particular, is enabling an ongoing and systematic massacre of Shia Muslims and other target killed groups in Pakistan.
