Which West Pakistani leader supported Fatima Jinnah?

Guess which West Pakistani leader supported Fatima Jinnah? He was the same Hakim who also supported Begum Nusrat Bhutto and Benazir during the MRD Movement.

Fatima Jinnah initially supported the dictatorship of “Field Marshall” Ayub till she opposed him in the 1964 elections. ZAB left Ayub’s cabinet by 1965-66 and that was when the slander against him began in earnest.

There are many False Neutral types who have their drawing room anecdotes against Fatima Jinnah, Hakim Ali Zardari, Mujeeb ur Rahman, “Zulfi”, Benazir and now Bilawal/Zardari.

In his famous separatist speech (after decades of exploitation by West Pakistan), not once does Mujeeb rail against Bhutto. In fact, the Jamaat slanders Bhutto as being in collusion with Mujeeb.

And then there is Hakim Ali Zardari who has been on the right side of history but who along with his son and now grandson, are singled out for slander by Pakistan’s drawing room elites.

In the late 1960s, Hakim Ali Zardari was both rich and generous and there are accounts on how he would gift Rs.100 notes to the staff of his Zoroastrian friends. Even at that time, the Zardaris owned acres of prime commercial real estate in urban Sindh. Yet they are accused of scalping tickets – from the cinemas owned by them!

Hakim, a Sunni Muslim, also supported the protests by Shia activists in the early 1980s when Zia’s regime unleashed Suad e Azam and IJT mobs to attack Shia Muslims in Pakistan.

Mohammad Ali Jinnah and Fatima Jinnah died mysterious deaths – yet we have absolved intriguers like Liaquat Ali Khan and Ayub of these dark chapters of our history. The Shia identity of the Jinnah siblings has also been buried by the State as well as by the lefty-liberal types who pretend to stand up against faith-based discrimination.

Just as today, our lefty-liberal False Neutral types are in the process of absolving General Zia ul Haq and Nawaz Sharif and placing their crimes on the murdered and silenced Bhutto.
