Enabling genocide by attacking the icons of a targeted community: Shame on Tarek Fatah, Ilmana Fasih and Ali Arqam

rosh2 21

In what has become a routine genocidal act on Fridays, 28 Shia Muslims were killed in a suicide attack in Kuwait by a Salafi/Wahabi terrorist while they were attending Friday prayers on 26 June 2015. This has occurred on multiple other Fridays in Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Yemen in the last few months.

During this wave of genocidal violence against not just Shias but Sunni Sufis and Christians by the Salafi-Deobandi terror groups, another tactic by the obfuscators and apologists of these terror attacks is to degrade the icons of faith of the persecuted communities. Degrading the icons of faith of Shia Muslims and Sunni Sufi Muslims while these two communities of faith are experiencing genocidal violence is tantamount to becoming a part this violence; such slander tactics enable Genocide!

It is the right of the communities facing both violence and slander to their icons to protest both interlinked instances peacefully and call out bigotry.

1. When “progressive” Tarek Fatah aka “Takfiri Tarek” apostasized the Holy Prophet’s Uncle, Abu Talib some time back, declaring him a Kafir, some people chose to oppose this Deobandi bigot disguised as a “secular liberal”.  Refer to “When Takfiri Tarek Fatah declared the Holy Prophet’s beloved uncle an infidel – by Irfan Qadri”

Others like Ale Natiq chose to cosy up to him.

abu talib

2. When Beena Sarwar’s assistant and ISIS-apologist Ilmana Fasih Deobandi used racist and misogynist language against Imam Ali and Hazrat Fatima, some honourable Shia and Sunni Sufi activists chose to protest this vile tactic. Ale Natiq (Ali Mashhadi) not only deleted his initial vague post about Ilmana and my explanatory comments, he then created a blog to misrepresent the position of the protestors. It was exposed by Aamir Hussaini in a recent post. In fact Ale Natiq, then along with Ali Arqam, Hamza Baloch and other Deobandi accounts, indulged in a false campaign to implicate LUBP and other activists in a false blasphemy campaign.

3. Just a few hours ago, renowned snitch and Ale Natiq’s collegue at Roshni, Ali Arqam, compared Imam Mahdi (as) to the Taliban terrorist Mullah Omar. What a vile and disgusting comparison! Ali Arqam’s agenda is clearly insidious as not only does he want to spew his sectarian bile against another icon of a persecuted community, he also wants to incite violence against Shia Muslims by inciting them to be critical of historical personalities revered by Sunni Muslims. This is such a disgusting tactic.

There are still a few deluded, naïve and willfully obtuse ppl out there who want to continue to give this Ale Natiq the benefit of the doubt while maligning us as “Fauji boys” – FYI, we have published more articles critical of army generals like Generals Kayani, Hamid Gul, Aslam Beg, Zia ul Haq etc than probably any other mainstream Pakistani website and have multiple tags and hundreds of archived articles.

There are still a few for whom the honour of self serving opportunists is more important than the honour of Imam Ali, Bibi Fatima , Hazrat Abu Talib and Imam Mahdi. There are still a few for whom the honour of snitches is more important than accepting the truth about the peaceful protests against slander. You are welcome to such one-sided views.

For those who want to open their eyes, you are welcome to read and arrive at your own conclusions. Instead of making pathetic fake blogs like Ale Natiq and then getting caught in the act by first leaving his profile picture in the blog and then editing it out. https://lubpak.net/archives/338849

Why is a certain champion of Shia genocide mysteriously silent when holy personalities of Shia Islam are being abused by his own friends? It's the same 'volunteer' who demanded US$1000 per month for making Shia genocide slides and posters for LUBP.For this champion of Shia genocide, honour of his personal friends of the elitist Beena Sarwar lobby is more important than the honour of Maula Ali, Lady Fatima and Hazrat Abu Talib. This fake champion, the seller of the Shia blood, is a living proof that populism and activism cannot co-exist.

Renowned social media snitch and Roshni founder Ali Arqam compares Taliban leader Mullah Omar to Imam Mehdi (AS)

Typical of Nasibi bigots Ali Arqam aka Anwar Ali Durrani makes the atrocious comparison between Imam Mahdi and Deobandi Taliban terrorist Mullah Omar. Meanwhile, his friend and colleague at Roshni, Ale Natiq aka Ali Mashadi has not even bothered to confront this sectarian hate of Ali Arqam.

Leaving aside such baseless comparisons, Ali Arqam clearly has a more insidious agenda.

He wants to elicit a reckless response from Shias where they might use similar derogatory language against historical personalities held in reverence by Sunni Barelvi muslims or those historical personalites worshipped by Deobandis.

Sunni, Sufis and Shias did not a violent or emotional response when Ilmana Fasih (Beena Sarwar’s assistant) used vile, racist and misogynist slander against Imam Ali and Bibi Fatima. Those who had the clear conscience to protest this vile slander against Maula Ali and Bibi Fatima clearly stuck to a peaceful stance whose only goal was to expose the bigotry and genocide enabling of ISIS-cheerleader Ilmana Fasih.

Similarly, all those Sunnis and Shias of conscience who want to protest this atrocious, Nasibi comparison between Imam Mahdi (as) and Taliban terrorist Mullah Omar must do so without resorting to:

    1. Abuse
    2. Personal attacks
    3. Most importantly, falling in the trap of Ali Arqam to create Sunni Shia strife by countering his Nasibi bigotry and inadvertently being critical of other historical personalities.

In today’s world, where Saudi money goes a long way in lining the pockets of pseudo liberal and pseudo human rights lobbies, Freedom of Speech has been limited.

Today, scores of Shia muslims were targeted in Kuwait while offering Friday prayers. As Shia and Sunni Sufi and Christians and Druze face genocidal violence at the hands of Deobandi and Salafi terror groups like ISIS, Al Qaeda and ASWJ-LeJ, there are those bigots disguised in liberal-speak who further enable this genocide by degrading the faith icons of targeted groups. From Ali Arqam to Ilmana Fasih and more importantly, their backers like Ale Natiq and Beena Sarwar, these bigots must be exposed and condemned in peaceful and clear language.

Apparently, the blood of 11 Shia imams was not sufficient for the Ommayad and Abbasiad caliphate regimes. Today, their admirers and followers can be discerned from their blood thirsty bigotry in their baying for the blood of the 12th Imam by mocking his spiritual occultation.

#ShiaGenocide going full steam ahead in Iraq, Pakistan, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Syria and Kuwait. At the same time, we have such disgusting Commercial “liberals” who do not even spare our Imam’s. Refer to the following tweet by Ali Arqam who is Ale Natiq’s colleague at Roshni. These sick minds are enabling genocide and must be protested against peacefully. If the misogynist and racist slander against Imam Ali and Bibi Fatima was not enough, now this by the same lobby. Clearly a concerted effort to degrade the icons of a faith community facing Genocide.
Ale Natiq can you condemn Ali Arqam for this vile comparison between Imam Mahdi (as) and Deobandi Taliban terrorist Mullah Omer

    Abbas Ali
I think you didn’t see pages abusing him..its a norm amongst certain wahabi frame of minds to abuse the 12th Imam..the words he used in this tweet were v ethical as compared to the actual thoughts..

Abbas Ali but this person Ali Arqam and his gang portray themselves as “anti establishment” “liberal” champions: But I agree with you, they are no different from Takfiri Wahabi, Deobandi and Nasibi types. Apparently for some it is more important to protect the “sanctity” of these Fake liberal Nasibi types as opposed to taking a clear stance when the icons of faith of a community facing genocide are being abused.

When such bigotry and insidious sectarian comments and their owners are working in cahoots with other “Selfie” activists. Most of our contributors are not concerned with personal fame and glory. By tweeting such nonsense, people like Ali Arqam expose their innate mindset which negates anything which they stand for or advocate.

He cannot call himself a liberal when he openly uses derogatory remarks towards spiritual leaders of the second biggest muslim sect. Bigotry comes out in the open, one way or the other.

Wasif Akbar Rizvi in the post modern world of “selfie activism” where one’s persona is more important than the cause, bigots like Ali Arqam are even promoted as “human rights champions”. They have their defenders in the Beena Sarwars etc. These people never work for any cause but for self promotion. Many of those who support us and put their lives in danger or otherwise use pen names are least concerned about their personal promotion. For them and us, we would be so lucky to even be the dust from the feet of Qambar.
On a more substantial level, it is people like Ali Arqam and co who continue to obfuscate the preponderance of Deobandi terrorists. They are the ones who create false binaries and deflections. And now this hate filled bigotry.

While I do believe in freedom of speech, I also agree that exercising this right selectively against a minority/persecuted community’s symbols or core beliefs is detestable. I do condemn it and I will communicate this to Ali Arqam in my capacity as his facebook friend. I do not however have any influence on him, the same way I don’t have any influence on you guys or on Ale Natiq.
As far as Ale is concerned, I can not make anyone condemn or confront something exactly the way I or someone else wants. I can not speak on his behalf but there is a possibility he wouldn’t do such a thing to ‘prove’ his loyalty to a cause or a principle simply because it’s LUBP demanding it and frankly a lot of people do not like the idea of ‘demands’. It leads to reactionary behavior and thats one of the reasons why causes get compromised. Also isn’t it possible that he thinks there would be better and more effective ways of communicating feedback or influencing someone than going no holds barred in public? Specially if it’s someone you know, work with and trust.

Furthermore in Ali Arqam’s case, not withstanding the current case of his selective humor at the expense of a persecuted community’s belief, which was in bad taste to say the least, and on which i’m sure he would be apologetic if approached, I as a reader will not ignore or forget some of the good things he has done in pushing forward a good narrative when it comes to shia persecution at the hand of deobandi militant organizations, the role of madressahs, and the role of the Pakistan army and security agencies.

IMO its better to raise bigger issues than these rather petty ones

Mohtaram Syed Kashif Rizvi When we were publishing posts slamming Generals Kiyani, Pasha, Zia, Zia ul Haq, Hamid Gul etc; those were also specific to the individuals as well as when we published highly critical post on FC Baluchistan for supporting ASWJ-BLA alliance and on Sindh Rangers for selective operation against MQM but no operation against ASWJ Ludhyanvi. We have been critical of individuals, groups and organisations who promote terrorists including GEO/JANG, Supreme Court. We have not spared PML N, PPP, ANP or PTI either for hob nobbing with ASWJ-Taliban terrorists either.
For us, the systematic slander of Imam Ali (as) , Bibi Fatima, Hazrat Abu Talib and now Imam Mahdi (as) when their adherents are facing a systematic genocide is not a petty issue. We will not only be critical of the foot soldiers of this commercial fake liberal mafia like Ali Arqam but will also be blunt about all those Fake liberal luminaries like the Beena-Sethi-Ashrafi mafia who use these pawns.
Unfortunately, we don’t expect remorse from these compromised souls. But we do want to make them aware that their sectarian invective and degrading of our faith icons during a time of genocide will NOT go answered. We are not in this to win a popularity contest. Before I was LUBP editor, other LUBP contributors were abused, misrepresented, threatened and forced to leave by the backstabbers planted within. Our current team and supporters are also subject to abuse, threats and grotesque lies by this same lobby backing Ali Arqam.
We don’t care. But when they go after the very beings whose adherents are facing genocide, then some of us are not going to go out “gently into that dark night” Or to the latest restaurant and pose for selfies.

@syed kashif rizvi this is a big issue and has to be confronted and protested peacfully by all means. We don’t realize its danger now but eventually we will because it will open the gate for any person with any agenda religious or not to be able to taunt religious icons and since it has become something normal under the cover of so-called freedom of speech then it’s confrontation will be impossible. Let’s understand and situation and act accordingly.

Johnny Muaviya it already has. First it was Takfiri Tarek when he issued Kuffar fatwa against Hazrat Abu Talib. Then it was Ilmana Fasih whose disgusting racist and misogynist rubbish against Imam Ali and Fatima. Now it is Imam Mahdi. Same group. Same lobby. Some bunch of posers who portray themselves as “secular” “liberal” “progressives” but are a disgrace to those very ideologies. We are exposing ideas and movements. Such as the careerist liberal and takfiri alliance. If Sherry Rehman and Najam Sethi and others promote ASWJ thugs like Tahir Ashrafi and Ahmad Ludhyanvi as “Progressives” and “men of peace” we will not be silent. When Shahhaz Sharif and Chaudhary Nisar meet with former COAS General Kiyani, then we will not conveniently forget their role. Or portray Saudi stooge PM Nawaz Sharif as “anti establishment” as these careerist “liberals” do. That makes sense to us. If these promotors of ASWJ and professional obfuscators think that it is ok to mainstream the cursing of Imam Ali, Bibi Fatima, Hazrat Abu Talib and Imam Mahdi (as) when their adherents are facing genocide. then some of us will not back down. If that is “reactionary” then so be it. Thanks and regards
