Washington Post: Demographic composition of foreign militants of the Islamic State aka ISIS

An estimated 15,000 militants from at least 80 nations are believed to have entered Syria to help overthrow the regime of President Bashar al-Assad according the CIA and studies by ISCR and The Soufan Group. Almost all of these militant belong to Salafi (Wahhabi) and Deobandi sub-sects of Sunni Islam and are opposed to Sunni Sufi and Shia Muslims as well as Christians, Jews and other commmunities. Many of these Salafi Wahhabi and Deobandi fighters are takfiri, i.e., they consider all non-Deobandi and non-Salafis as Kafir. They are believed to have joined units that are now part of the Islamic State (aka ISIS or ISIL). Western officals are concerned about what these individuals may do upon returning to their native countries.

While Salafi Wahhabi is a cult usually found in Saudi Arabia, UAE and other countries, the Deobandi cult is found in Pakistan, Afghanistan, India and also South Asian communities in USA, UK and other parts of Europe.

The major suppliers of Salafi Wahhabi and Deobandi terrorists to the so called Islamic State (in fact Salafi Deobandi State) include:

Tunisia: 3000
Jordan: 2089
Saudi Arabi: 2500
Morocco: 1500
Lebanon: 890
Russia: 800
Libya: 556
UK: 488
France: 412
Egypt: 358
Pakistan: 330
Belgium: 296
Australia: 250
Algeria: 250
Germany: 240
USA: 130
China: 100

The above data confirms US Vice President Joe Biden’s concerns that Turkey, Saudi Arabia, UAE and a few other countries are sponsoring transnational Salafi Wahhabi andd Deobandi terrorism. https://lubpak.net/archives/316127
